In today's SaaS landscape, we've observed a growing complexity in the sales process. Customers are more informed than ever, asking deeper technical questions and expecting immediate, accurate responses. This trend has increased the demand for sales engineers, but scaling them to support sales adequately is challenging, often resulting in leaner coverage.
At DocketAI, we recognized an opportunity to leverage GenAI to address these challenges, providing scalable, high-quality support for revenue teams without the associated costs and resource constraints.
Today, I'm thrilled to share that we've raised $15 million in Series A funding led by Mayfield and Foundation Capital. This brings our total funding to $20.3 million, following our $5.3 million seed round led by Foundation Capital. This is a significant leap toward our mission to transform revenue enablement through AI-driven solutions.
While at ZoomInfo, I saw firsthand how critical technical knowledge and competitive intelligence were for closing deals. My team and I were the subject matter experts who answered the complex and deeply specific questions from the field. We painfully worked through all of the challenges that, today, Docket addresses.
While we struggled, AI was making strides like never before — for the first time in the history of technology, there was an enabling service that would make it possible to solve this problem.
In parallel, my cofounder and CTO, Anoop Thomas Mathew, was building the solution engineering team at FullContact.
The founders' market fit was amazing. Given both of our backgrounds, it was a no-brainer for us to imagine a product that would solve our problems.
Docket AI was created to provide instant, precise sales insights and automate document generation. By acting as an AI-powered Sales Engineer, we empower revenue teams to work more efficiently, respond to customer needs promptly, and significantly improve their performance.
We're proud to work with leading companies like ZoomInfo, Demandbase and Whatfix, which are already reaping significant benefits from our platform.
As James Roth, ZoomInfo's Chief Revenue Officer, shared, "Since implementing DocketAI, our revenue team has drastically reduced the time spent on repetitive tasks and technical inquiries, allowing us to close deals faster and accelerate the onboarding process."
This funding round will allow us to accelerate our product roadmap and scale our solution to more enterprises looking to streamline revenue enablement. We're committed to continually enhancing our platform to ensure it remains at the forefront of AI-driven sales enablement.
I want to express my gratitude to our team, our investors, and, most importantly, our customers who have trusted us. We're excited about the road ahead and the opportunity to help more companies unlock the full potential of their revenue teams.
We'd love to hear from you if you're interested in learning more about how DocketAI can transform your revenue enablement processes.
